ABOUT
CompostCalc was developed by Jorge Montezuma and Misky Trade in 2019. It evolved from an Excel calculator developed by the Andy Bary and Craig Cogger with Washington State University-Puyallup (WSU) with further upgrades from Cary Oshins (formerly with USCC/CREF) and Jorge Montezuma. The list of feedstocks is mostly drawn from the On-Farm Composting Handbook (Rynk, 1992), Cornell University compost mixture recipe calculator, with additional analyses done for the CREF Compost Operations Training Courses over the years.
